Dan Decker ... great bodybuilder, but should he consider the possibility of becoming a fitness model?
He's stance in that photo is a bit ungainly/stupid but other than that what would keep him from being a "bodybuilder". Is it because his gut is tooooooooooooooooo small? Is it because his physique is still relatively in proportion to what a human being that practices progressive weight training should look like?
By the way, just what the hell is "fitness model" code for? Sounds Cirque du SoGhey to me, but what the hey. You know, the thinking that everyone that wants to can and will make a living being a "bodybuilder" is ludicrous to say the least. Since the first public screening of "Pumping Iron" everyone thinks they have a shot at being the next big thing, i.e., Arnold. Not gonna happen. There are also people that think being a pro beach volleyball player should pay BIG money, because they love playing it. I'm relatively certain that the majority of people in the world could care less about that sport (and it is more of a sport than bodybuilding can ever be), but outside of a few top players I doubt anyone makes a lot of dough.
I believe you work in Hollyweird, am I correct in this assumption? This line has to ring true for more than a few people, bodybuilders/fitness models included:
And all the stars, that never were, are parking cars and pumping gas.
