I don't think it will effect the war at all.  It seems to be one of the only things republicans have mostly agreed that Obama has for the most part kept with the plan set by Bush.  Aside from the radicals that will find any and every reason to blame Obama.

Personally, we should pull out of all these places yesterday.

I doubt much changes.  The election was all about the economy and healthcare.  Those issues will likely be the focus of the next year, along with taxes.
