Palumbo on Blechmans "MD contracts" regarding Burneika
« on: November 29, 2010, 04:50:04 AM »
Here he talks about how bleachman screwed Burneika.

"Blechman screwed him and never gave him the promised YEAR contract. Surprised? Instead, he had to settle for the 72 hour contract............. no one interviewed or photographed him and he's without a supplement contract. That was a real great reward for being the Overall Champion at the NPC Nationals. Meanwhile 25-year old KUCLO (who placed 3rd) got signed to a year by MD! I can't repeat myself enough..........

DO NOT SIGN any SHORT-TERM CONTRACTS with MD........ you're only screwing yourself! It's not worth the $500............. you lose out longterm. Hold out for the 1-year deal! If BLECHMAN really wants you, he'll sign you no matter who you interview or shoot with. If he's just trying to keep you away from other magazines/website, he'll try to tie you up short term for a few bucks. THINK before signing anything! Never act out of desperation."

Is he really a pos like that?

Palumbo takes and takes sponsorship money for his website and doesn't give anything back to the bodybuilders. He says the bodybuilders get exposure... What exposure? There is no traffic on his site.

Dave needs to stop complaining and start opening up his own wallet or write a check for a change. Its time to give back and not take, take, take from the bodybuilders.

At least MD gives back to the bodybuilders. They must have 30 guys on contract which is more then anyone in the industry.

Palumbo is full of shit..

If he hadn't been fired from MD he would be going on about how great even a 3 day contract is.  How even a 3 day contract is a foot in the door and better than nothing.

Rumors have Palumbo being one of the cheapest guys out there.  Paying in protein powder and temporary basement lodging.

Buttman is still in Palumbo's head.

thats true, pal-scum-bo is legendary for his cheapness, even people he considers close friends and business partners he rips off

but what blechman does with those weekend contracts is pretty fucking scummy, keeping someone tied up just long enough so that any chance to get exposure for their win passes, and then not to even use the pictures

and use dirtbag george farah as his enforcer to threatern people to not talk to anyone else but MD, because it will jeapordize the 1 year contract blechman is preparing to give the competitor,,,,,,that he never does, so the competitor can even get any publicity for his nationals or USA win

but yeh, palumbo and romano had no qualms with any of this scumbaggery until they were on the outside looking in.....so they should STFU and stop acting like they care about athletes

they are ALL fucking scum of the earth...

That's a easy one. Why would anyone sign a 40 yrs old Russian guy who just turned pro? There's no market for burneika. I rather give contract to this 25 yrs old decent looking fella kuclo even if he not even in he top 5. I'm sure as a owner I make more $$ n gt more traffic off kuclo

If those 'contracts' don't pay the 30 guys a living wage, shut the fuck up.

Dave busts his ass weekly to make sure that the athletes get exposure, by providing comprehensive event coverage and by publishing video interviews with competitors no one ever heard of before, which gets them onto the map.

Whether you like it or not, the fans get entertainment on a consistent basis for free.

Dave recently attended a symposium on steroids and presented a very strong case.  He's someone who is and will be of great value to those of us who favor the decriminalization of performance-enhancing drugs.  Can the same be said about anyone at MD?

Thought not, so again, shut the fuck up.

Of course everyone is different but MD pays some of the guys very well. Even if they paid them $1 it would be $1 more than Dave pays anyone. Dave's content isn't really great and there are not a lot of people viewing the site so how is that helping the athletes?

As long as there are Bbers willing to pose for $500, it's gonna happen.

And who's to say it's not a fair price?  I mean, if you knocked on my door and offered five bills to hit a few poses, sure why not.  pay up.

If they don't like the deal, don't take it.  it's pretty simple.

Why shouldn't bodybuilders be paid for video or print photo shoots? If Blechman offered me a weekend contract of $1,000, plus tons of video on the MD website and coverage in MD magazine I would take it in a second! Especially if no one else is putting money on the table!!!

It costs a lot of money and expense to enter a bodybuilding show. Anything helps to offset the costs.

Think about it, if you are an athlete where are you going to get better exposure, MD or RX? No brainer, it's MD. And believe me the people over at AMI pay attention to what goes on at MD and they will see the athlete. No one is really going to see you at RX except the handful of Palumbo groupies. That doesn't help the athlete.

on his sight on rxmuscle.com it seems palumbo is going out of his way to aggravate people ala peter paul. he likes going into restaurants and filming customers and workers etc. must be that he misses romano.
