Raise your hand.  Then, please defend your position.

"Free Scooter Libby" for individually outing a US citizen working for the govt - purposefully - for political gain.  But "Kill Assange" for outing some of our agents?  Defend it.

240, get your facts straight. Scooter Libby did not out Valerie Plame. That isnt even what he was charged for. He was charged for purguring himself when asked who had mentioned her identity. He said Tim Russert mentioned to him her identity. Tim Russert said he did not, even though preliminary FBI interviews with Russert refute that. The independent prosecutor already knew who the leaker was when he had Libby on the stand. That is prosecutorial misconduct.  And it was a dumb and false charge, and Bush should have pardoned him. Libby was unjustly crucified, and people like you who blindly listen to Christ Mathews and dont get your facts straight contribute to this crucifixtion.

Richard Armitage was the one who leaked her idendity. He was second in command at the State Department to Colin Powell and was a Bush enemy.  No one is angry at this because Plame was not even covert overseas at the time. She had been at a desk job in the US for 5 years.

God 240 is such a fucking moron it makes my hair hurt. M2K has it right and you have it wrong as usual. Besides that, how can you possibly compare a single CIA agent being outed, to millions of confidential documents being released around the world exposing our allies, men and women on the battlefield etc. to danger?

Valerie Phlame is still alive. Not a hair on her head was harmed. You need to stop watching that idiotic and ficticious movie that just came out about the whole saga. Hate to break the news to you, but its a work of fiction-- not fact.

Hope this helps.

She wasnt a "brave" agent keeping us safe. She had been behind a desk for 5 years. Richard Armitage was the one who leaked her name, and he had no incentive for doing so decietfully, because he was an enemy of Bush. If Scooter Libby wanted to decieve, why would he say that he talked about her in a conversation with Russert? Either way, no law was broken because she wasnt even covert. You people and all the other liberals who politicized this event just to get at Bush do a great disservice to the CIA agents who were truly outed, tortured and killed, which was the orginal impetus for the creation of the law. Chris Mathews and all the other liberal commentators owed an engraved apology to the families of those slain CIA agents. They are unpatriotic despicable Americans.

It's funny that they rallied behind this women while spending the rest of their time railing against the CIA and how they're out to take over the world.  ::)

I don't see you stand up for the unconditional rights of Wikileaks to publish.

Rather, you attack others for being angry?

Weak.
