What would you do to Fix the US?

I know everyone is gonna hate this.. but i would Tax the fuck out of Companies that outsource to encourage Companies to keep jobs in the us.

I would also get hella tuff on illegal immigrants. Not letting kids go to school who dont have a social security card.

I would pass a balanced budget amendment, restore the bretton woods agreement, glass steagal, deport the illegals, deport the politicians and bankers, slash federal spending, make congress a part time job, etc etc.

Impose term limits on congress.

Make lobbying a criminal act punishable up to 25 years in prison.

Send Bernake and Geitner to Gitmo, put the key in a Folgers coffee can and launch it into space.

Create an energy bill with a focus on nuclear energy.

Revoke the national health care system.

Stop the war on terror.

I think we tried that and made kids fat.. when we killed PE and replaced it with another science class..i think we will make another china if we do that. I think we should have an extremely well rounded approach. Music, Sports, MAth Schience etc.. because if we focused on science, some kids just dont have it in sports

Yea, I should have expounded on that one since it was a little vague.  I definitely don't think we should get rid of PE or sports, but my view on education is more specialized in the sense that we should determine what kids tend to excel in and focus the rest of their education on mainly those subjects with a well rounded supplementary set of classes.  If a child shows signs of musical intelligence, art, science, math, sports etc, then most of their classes should focus on those areas, of course having supplementary classes for a well rounded education.

We need manufacting and heavy industry to be able to absorb people who might not be college grads but are healthy working age and capable of production. 

These jobs typically pay more than service sector jobs and used to be a source of stability and middle class jobs.   

Additionally, these jobs produce actual wealth and products for consumption, unlike the scams on wall street that suck trillions from the economy and produce nothing.

one of the reasons our trade deficit is so obsecene is because we now only export inflation as opposed to real produxts.   Its really a hideous mess.
