I love these jackasses who are like "Well, on paper / in the textbook this may be true, but let ME tell you how it really is."

I actually read some of these papers / textbooks and have yet to encounter one that actually says what all these strength and conditioning celebrities say that they say.

That's because the factor your papers are missing is massive amounts of steroids.  That changes the game completely.  Anytime you read nutrition information by any of these "gurus" you have to take it with a grain of salt and factor in that they aren't talking about natural people.

its funny. guys who say they are flat in reality aren't holding enough muscle, and those who say they were holding too much water are just too fat.

Yeah and quite a few very experienced guys say it like they believe it too. I have a friend like this, always talking about his water problems.  :D

So will Adonis, tbombz and Wavelength, which is why I posted it...
nope, nothing new to me there buddy..  :)  i posted my current diet about a week ago in a different thread.. this is what im doing to get lean..

Diet:
Eat every 4 hours, 50 grams of protein at each meal with vegetables and a tablespoon of olive oil.  At least one junk food meal per day, usually around 6-10 pm.

the pre/post workout nutrition really just comes down to eating protein beefore and after(adding in carbs along side when trying to build masass), which everybody should be doing anyways..

Myth and fairytales. EFFECTIVE, PRODUCTIVE, AND HARD TRAINING IS THE END ALL BE ALL (not including chemicals into this equation). So in summary it looks like this: 1st and foremost training, 2nd rest, 3rd, and a very distant 3rd I might add, diet.

That is another good point.

Let me clarify for you because you're evidently too stupid to read, comprehend, and then post: there are no textbooks or peer-reviewed research articles that state "eat surplus calories = build muscle, regardless of any other factors."
