While I'll agree that party affiliation has no bearing on whether a person is more likely to feel that way (let alone boast about it), it's this ingrained laziness that irks me, to say nothing of the fact that guh'-ment jobs have become WAY too desirable at the expense of the private sector, the ones who actually pay the costs to keep this bullshit welfare system thriving.

True story... Some time ago, I worked for the "Commonwealth of Virginia" in their Information Technology Agency.
There were about 8 people in my group... I did about 50% of the work, another guy did about 25, and the other 15% was a 3rd guy... The other 5 people split up the last 10%.
The other problem with government is that to get actually fired, you have to do something almost criminal because it really does seem to take legislation to get someone out if they screw up. Poor performance doesn't get the job done.
