The BMI is a tool, and with all tools, it's succes depends on it's application.
The BMI is a global assesment of someones position on the bodyfat scale and the associated risks.
It's a tool that can be used on the majority of the population and in that respect it's a quick and useful method.

Some situations require a closer look and a different tool than the BMI, with bodybuilders that's case. In most cases it's the fault of the applicant using the wrong application/tool, not the tool itself that is to blame.

Thanks Squadfather.  Much appreciated, hard work, diet etc, but all worth it.  Not too huge, but getting in shape is no problem, its easier starting off in good shape now, but I have been pretty fat before too. Im going to post up some pics, i have not posted before. Just to show im not naturally thin

::)

do you understand what i mean?

does anyone lol?

lighter bones can create illusion of more size...

Bone structures/bone weight/density varies very little from person to person.  There's no such thing as "light" bones, just as there's no such thing as "big boned" as many fat people claim to be

The waist to hip ratio is a better measure of overall health.
