She is a child, society deems her to young to be able to vote,drink,smoke or go to prison (in most cases) infact here in Australia she would be in her final year of highschool so you tell me thats not still a kid. I would be upset if my daughter was with a man that old but the legal age for sex here is 16, I think people are upset about the age gap, but you cant just label some one a pedo if he is much older than his girl friend but they are both of legal age.
When I was 17 I was not allowed to vote but I was already in the Army and had come under sniper fire before my 18th birthday so that argument does not fly.
