dilemma
« on: January 20, 2011, 09:08:09 PM »
i've had a few drinks,

so a, I'll call him a friend he is a friend but yea. ... w/e he came to me asking for help in a business development no financial help. I'm going to be vague sorry.

He's doing something I wanted to do 5 years ago but I couldn't do it and it still leaves a sour taste in my mouth. on one hand I'm going to learn alot of things if I do get involved. on the other Id want to take it over and do things my way if I did get involved.

most of all I have this feeling of envy. can't shake it. cause I know it's a good idea & don't want him to have it.

i'm being brutally honest, i'm not sure what to do. and then what If I do get involved I have the feeling not in a bad way it's going to take over my life.

fuck.

any input is appreciated.

posted this on the business board. but I'm juiced and need some feedback fuckers. by the time i get a reply there the opportunity will pass and i'll be more pissed

Damn-  this brings up memories-

this is my advice-

Just because u cdn't do it 5 yrs ago- will it be possible that you cd start up by urself in the not to distant future?

U are dominant, and thats why you dont want to be anything but the leader in the venture-

If there's no chance at doing it by yourself, then ask urself if being a part of it (with the reservations) is better than nothing at all

hope this helps

Remember this:

"Greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right. Greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures, the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, knowledge, has marked the upward surge of mankind and greed, you mark my words, will not only save Teldar Paper, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the U.S.A."

Now, look at what is happening...

Don't be envious, be prosperous, but not greedy...
