if your friend is a guy

1. 1800 calories daily.
2. cardio everything day, start off walking, increasing speed and distance every day.
3. moderate weight training 3-4 days per week.
4. get more active, take up outdoor activites..roller blade, biking, hiking.

get some clen, if your friend is loaded get him on HGH.

Multiply bodyweight x 15 then drop 500 calories. Slow fat loss and weight train to gain/maintain muscle plus cardio no rocket science. When fat loss stops drop another 300-500. Dropping to quickly puts your body in a "starvation mode" and it will try to hang on to the fat for survial.

Follow a "cycle diet" with 3 days of ultra low cals (not more than 800) followed by 2 days of normal cals. Repeat cycle

How did you arrive at 1800 calories without knowing how much this person weighs?

For a quick calculation, I usually go x 9 or x10 and take that number and break up the macros.

Why not find out the bodyfat, BMR, TDEE and reduce calories and split up macros from there?  More accurate.
