personally...i'd prefer if we search for other life forms on those 54 planets when we have the technology to deal with them esp if they are hostile.

If advanced alien life forms can fly in and out of our dimension, why couldn't space as we know it just be one large hologram made up by alien life forms

Whatever dude. I never said what type of life microbes and shit is common place, I strongly believe it's close say with every 20 square light years.

And time scale becomes irrelevant. If a species can get off it's planet I'm a strong believer it will be able to last millions of years. The who drake equation assumes that civilizations only last a bit longer than the romans which is a bizarre assumption.

Too many knuckleheads online who believe all sorts of rubbish stuff instead of getting educated and thinking critically for themselves. As a philosopher of science I cannot accept nonsense as fact.
