A sad day for Egypt indeed. Truly a great man. Hopefully he will move to the United States and run for President in 2012.

As what!? Minister of Soiled Thongs. I'd wager that the guy with the bread hat could out think Nasser.

Don`t get too excited my friends.  There will be a vacuum and in will come the corruption, the real "owners" of the Egypt with corporate and their own interests solely in mind and the Religious zealot factions battling it out for control of an non-existent/weak central government at the moment.

Things will turn to shit REALLY fast if they keep this unordered dancing in the streets.   Egypt could emerge as a wonderful United States ally and have a meaningful presence on the world stage if they establish a Democracy and erect a "WALL OF SEPARATION" between Church and State.  This isn`t going to happen though so don`t expect much in the way of true freedom as a result.

dude egypt has been living in real injustice for soooooo many years so sure we are not expecting an immediate improvement to happen tomorrow in everything!!.. but seriously everyone in egypt now wants this country to be better and will start by himself!!.. you cant just ignore this feeling,.. gradually i am sure we will create a new spirit in our blood!!..

as for separating between the church and the state or let me say the mosque and the sate you guys are naive victims of your media,.. things in egypt are not as many of you think!!..

Was that the day that Muslims worldwide vowed to stop using toilet paper and bathing? Most of the world would agree that your people have kept their word to Allah in that regard.
