Bwaaaahhhhaaaa, I think every high school in N America had one of those at a certain point. I remember guys using the whole stack on that machine, and thinking they were bad-ass for it. Then it would always break off into some arguement between two guys that went something like "nah, man, I used the f'ing top pedals, you may of used the whole stack, but I'm way stronger".

Also, see the white covering on the shoulder and bench press bar? It was like this PVC pipe sleeve that would spin and tweak the heck out of your wrists if you weren't careful.

We had the Universal in high school and in retrospect it's a wonder nobody got fucked up on that piece of shit.

I liked the shoulder press and pull up station but the rest was shite.
