Those that are rich and have access to massive amounts of cheap money get to throw it into the market and than get taxed at as low as 15% on the gain, they have access to places to hide their money too.

Everyone else goes into debt and their wages stagnate.

This is the simple version and I probably left some stuff out, but whatever.

P.S. Taxing the "rich" at a higher and higher rate will do nothing to fix this.

What people fail to realize is that placing a higher tax burden on the rich is the worst thing that can be done to the middle class. The tax revenue confiscated from productive Americans is then redistributed via government programs to poor people who don't pay taxes to begin with, don't hire people or create jobs and have no motivation to cut off their dependency to the state. The middle class doesn't recieve a penny of the tax revnue taken from the wealthy. In addition, public sector unions fuck the middle class further by sucking its blood in the form of extravagant benefit/ pension packages. Remember something, the wealthy can afford to pay high taxes, the poor don't pay taxes and the middle class gets fucked coming and going.

Exactly -   GW - you live in NYC like I do.   People in Westchester, Nassau, Suffolk, Rockland, Putnam, Paasaic, Bergen, etc pay criminal level property taxes to keep overpaying govt workers.  Its totally fucking the middle class people royally and making their homes unmarkatable and unsellable just to keep this spending spree going.

The economic illiterates trying to make this a "workers rights" issue should be shot.  Their idiocy is collapsing everything.

No no-- it's the  multinational corporations fault and Dick Cheney and Bristol Palin's dance moves. High taxes and more unemployment= good for the middle class; don't be fooled by Fox News  ::)
