bwhahahaha bullshit...the very first M16's had issues....not anymore...todays M4's/ar's/m16 are blasting circles around the AK...even more so since so many companies offer a gas piston M16 platform.....

trust me, i have more experience with these weapons than you do with the trannies you always post....which is truly saying something...

 It does not have the stopping power to stop a 220 lb man in his tracks at 30 yards, although the ammo is light, sacrificing mobilty with survivabilty is not an option.

Think about it, you have not won one war when using the .223 cartridge, the Viet-Cong used the AK, won that war, and the taliban held of the USSR for years with it, and with all the technology you have today, you still havent been able to crush the AK wielding Al-Queda and Taliban think about it.

 Would you rather have a .223 coming at you or a 7.62x39 bullet coming at you?


 Just look at the numbers made and the number of people each has killed.

The AK-47 wins by a country mile.

 AK47 one shot one kill sometimes one shot 2 kills. you can shoot through 5 bodies with an AK.

finally someone who knows something. nice post dude. it wasnt until this year did the AR platform finally catch up to the AK. the SCAR 17S  with its 7.62x51mm nato has been introduced and being tested by the military. its a ugly gun, though. i like the old A2 style myself. pre ban with the bayonet lug.

i have used both calibers in combat extensively....you only know what you learned from call of duty.....and you have spouted off a bunch of myths....learn some ballistics, and not bro science....

 Some soldiers in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Most agree that the AK-47 is a better option. Also when taking over an enemies ammo point you would be able to acquire more rounds for your own weapon in the heat of battle.


 And that the low maintenance required of the AK_47 makes it one less thing to worry about when one is in a combat situation.

 The AK can be found in the bush just lying there for a month in all climates and with one slide slide bust off 10 or 15 caps just like that.
