it's a parody.  he goes on and on about how these 2 organizations are connected because of their logo... then the video shows a repub group uses that logo too.

You can punch in 'fist logo" and find a million others that use similar logos.  Glen is smart on some things, but was just appealing to the very dumbest of his audience on this one.

what about the fact that the iso gets permits pulled for these union officials to rally in washington, like the ones van jones spoke at?  does that mean nothing as well

that's definitely meaningful pro nitro.  It should def be included in beck's talk.

The problem is, every channel has smart viewers and stupid viewers.  There are millions of Beck viewers who won't understand the permits thing.  They will 'get" the fist thing and repeat it to other idiots who will high five and agree.

Why won't he go on a show like jon stewart or somewhere to actually debate? Hell I would even like to see a serious Colbert debate him. Isn't democracy based on debate of opposing ideas?

I know two different types of glen beck viewers. One type is the professors and higher intellect that watch him partly for humor and partly to see how stupid society has got. The other type is the common people that identify with republicans that watch Beck for actual news and understanding of the world, and this makes them paranoid about society and government and causes them to become cynical instead of encouraging participation.

I'm afraid the latter is more common.
