Most gyms need to throw out half their machines and make the dumbbell area twice as big.

Almost every gym has a dangerously overcrowded dumbbell area during peak times and probably ten machines that barely get used.

no. machines are used by "normal" people to think they are working hard. Simple equipment (ie: freeweights) are harder to work with.

fancy machines are a sales tactic for the most part.
