Losing Fat - Suit Fit
« on: March 25, 2011, 08:16:28 PM »
I'm 190, probably about 16% bodyfat.  I just got a great brooks brothers suit that fits me perfect.  Size 43R Jacket.

If I lose about 15 pounds of fat will this suit still fit me?  My chest and shoulders shouldn't shrink any I would think?  I can always get the waist/ass taken in?

no they shouldn't shrink but 15 llbs it will be big. For woman, loosing 10llbs you go down in size, thats the norm. Not sure about dudes

It should still fit decently.  You might need to get a waist or chest reduction done, but that is an extreme case.

In my case, when I was 220lb, I wore a 52 long and the waist had to be massively tailored so it would fit properly.  After I came off the sauce and stopped training, I shrunk down to 180lb.  I now wear a 42 long.  So 50lb loss = about 10 inch loss on the chest measurement.  My bodyfat is pretty much the same.
I dont like twinks.

Yea it should be fine cause at 190 16% bodyfat you should just kill yourself and then they can alter the suit perfectly to bury you in it.  :)

You probably only need your "suit" once, in your brothers wedding so why worry?

It's not like you're Obama or something here... used car dealers do not have to wear suit  ::) ::)

Any chick that cares about how a man looks in a suit has 3 distinct traits.
1) She has never worn a thong
2) Her cooter forrest extends past her belly button and onto her thighs
3) She has no earthly idea what a "beejer" is

LOL i was just thinking the same thing- if you weigh 190 at 15% you've got bigger problems than getting into that fucking suit.

Try not putting your shoulders in your jeans and hats. Thank me later.    ;)
