Do young kids really buy tons of supplements cause they aspire to look like that?

they aspire to be bigger than what they currently are, so if ya show them someone real big they figure "ok if it can make him like that from taking whatever supp, it can def get my 13 inch arms to be 16 etc"

obviously some do want to be that big

how does the health & fitness industry work?

take a whole slew of drugs in copious quantities and then publicly pretend it's all the bogus sugar flavoured powdered supplements, plus 15 meals per day and gallons of water that worked wonders in turning you into a ripped beast.

Yes, absolutely yes.
No question about it.

I remember when I was young teen kid. I bought every issue of MD and Flex... looked ads over and over again! Bought crazy supplements at crazy price by money I begged from parents LOL
I actually thought I would grow like pros if I trained the same way and used same supps  ;D

Say what you want but that's how most young kids do! I wasn't alone in supplement store at the time...
Haven't you ever been young yourself? Kids are delusional and easy marketing target - especially when they really want to be something, for example bodybuilder or just have bigger muscles (which is what 95% of teen boys want)

Some do, but the ones that are actually into working out are much more realistic. Most buy supplements because they want to look like the football players, baseball player, or actor or musicians who actually buy the supplements, work out and are in shape.

i bought supplements at first because i wanted to get "bigger" for football, and in teh old metrx days a lot of football players were endorsing their crap.  it was weight gainer and creatine for me most of the time.  then when that didn't work, i just switched to eating and creatine.

now i have 2 jugs of protein that i only start using about a month before they expire, and don't use any other supplements.

of course, i've always looked like shit.
