Tuna packed in olive oil.
« on: April 13, 2011, 01:51:26 PM »
Oh my lord.  What have I been missing all these days!   This stuff is TONS more palatable than packed in water.  Yes, has some fat to it, healthy albeit.

SO much more tasty.  I don't have to swish it down with water!

be careful, a lot  of the time they say they are packed in olive oil, but in reality there is only a very small amount of olive oil and the majority of the oil is either canola or soybean..

lol! wtf! its true, check the ingredient listin on ur tuna, many of them put just enough olive oil so that they can legally advertise "packed in olive oil"  and then use cheap vegetable oils for the rest.

If you don't care about the fat and calories, then why don't you eat stake instead? It's even tastier, and the saturated fats are better for testosterone than the monoinsaturated fats in olive oil.

Tuna, as I see it, is a protein used for muscle mantainance when you want to lose fat. It makes no sense to eat it for trying to bulk up.

Tuna is my 4 oclock work meal, which is generally sitting at a desk in my office.   It's easy, that's why it wins out.  It goes with the 3 packets of cream of wheat I scarf down with water.  No dishes (minus my fork).
