Just watched UFC Primetime...The way GSP trains is so far ahead of anyone it's incredible.

I think you add up the nerve rattling crowd of 50,000 people, GSP's mentality/intelligence and conditioning, Shields has a lot working against him.

That's not even taking into consideration GSP's MMA skills.

I have a feeling we are going to see a complete domination by GSP once again.

This. My exact words on another forum lol. Jake has yet to see anyone of GSP's caliber.

the bottom line is that while Shields is still working toward becoming a well rounded fighter by improving his striking, GSP is working on taking his well rounded skills to a whole new level.

On paper, GSP will put on a striking clinic in this fight.  But, it is MMA and anything can happen.

Looking forward it!

yeah I'm thinking the real fight won't even start until it goes to the mat...

I think it's going to all hinge on whether georges take down defense is better that shields take downs...

I still like jake's chances if he get george off his feet like I think he will..

Amazes me everytime the work GSP puts into his training. It's all he does.

I think the quote from him on primetime was something like "a martial artist trains every day no matter what. A fighter only trains when he's got a fight coming up."

Unless he's fighting Anderson, GSP is of no interest to me.  He doesn't finish fights and, for the most part, his fights are boring.  I"ll save my money for the Brock/JDS card.

This fight won't go 5 rounds.

Watching the last Primetime and even GSP is promoing Shields.

You must really suck if your opponent has to frequently put you over as a challenge.  Sucks to being Shields.

Unless...

With all due respect, what he's doing on video are pretty elementary gymnasts movements.
