Sorry if I`d rather watch There Will Be Blood or Frost/Nixon or something along those lines.  I will make you a bit angrier now- I am in the process of building a movie theater in one of my rooms with a 130 inch screen.  It will of course be period correct and have an Antebellum theme to it with a playbill of "Our American Cousin" from Ford`s Theatre April 14, 1865. I refuse to get any kind of cable or satellite of any nature and I also refuse to own any television of any kind.  I just watch movies if I watch anything, so may as well focus on a dedicated movie room.  I hope this makes your blood boil a little more.

I watched this two weeks ago. It was OK, nothing special. The opening and ending were good but it got pretty slow in the middle. The fights were very well scripted, also. There really wasn't much of a plot but it seemed to be pretty authentic so that was cool. And the director, who did Ichi the Killer, didn't go over the top on the gore like he usually does.

He always does good work. The settings and costume work were very well done. The only problem was the lack of real plot development. But I still recommend checking it out as it's definitely one of the better samurai movies made recently.

Assassings is getting good reviews and high verbal praise among L.A. Film makers and those who work behind the scenes and some of us might not like Fast Five but it is doing remarkable business for a somewhat suffering Universal.

I hope THOR does even better (topping $83 Million+) because Hemsworth is a great person whom I hope is a major success in the motion picture biz.
