Only if you have enough money, it will be available for you. A lot of money...

There is really no reason to die anymore, we have stopped evolution anyway so why not. Humans ain't gonna get any smarter, and possibly even dumber the way things are progressing.

1. It's not and no. That's the point.

2. To talk about a "construct of the mind" again already implies someone (conscious) who posesses this mind. So the statement is self-refuting.

That's impossible IMO.

I thought it was already well established within neuroscience that our decisions are made before our consciousness perceives it. Our 'minds' are just passive observers.

What has been established in neuroscience is a tiny scientific aspect of free will. Just because we can observe a certain scientific aspect of human decision making in the brain doesn't mean we can explain anything. The topic of free will is a philosophical question and as such a topic open to discussion. What is not open to discussion is that there must be a consciousness perceiving what is called free will.

We're far from explaining in detail how the brain works, but I don't see how you can call it a tiny aspect of free will? If decisions are made before our minds know about them then in my book that is devastating to the whole concept of free will.

Lets do a test....

Think of a famous person.

You thought of one yet?

Lets say you thought of Madonna. Can you explain why you didn't choose to think of Lady Gaga instead? Was it really up to your consciousness to decide which one to pick?

You are so wrong.

ok, temporarily happy, I will agree on that, then you sink back to where you were before.  You need to address core issues if you are not happy with you, if a girl or money is the only thing making you feel decent then you really need to think hard about getting therapy.
