Gas will never be irrelevant so long as the government makes money on it.

Electricity is not a "Prime Mover"...you still need fossil/nuclear/falling water plants to make the electricity...
It's not as if you can find a pool of naturally occurring electricity that you can tap.

I think gas guzzling V8's will be on the road as long as the male ego's exist. Dodge Viper, Ferarri, Lambo's...not purchased for practicality or commuting but for the almighty vagina.

Unless you work construction, have a ranch / farm or some other type of occupation that requires frequent and heavy towing / hauling you don't really need anything over a V4. We love our speed and our ego's too much. Motorcycles as well..do I HAVE to ride a 180+mph 1300cc bike to get from A to B? No...but it's hot looking and I'm hooked on the adrenaline twisties and speed.

Grandpa used to tell me that you drive a Cadillac to get the women and a hot rod to get away from them.

Drive me absolutly fvcking nuts that a new 1 ton pickup will cost me 50K+, and I NEED to buy it to do what I do... while I see college fvcutards and little girls driving them to the store and post office.

Also, to those who put the 20" lifts on the heavy super-duty trucks... Fucck you. Seriously. Go get a Toyota for that shit and leave the big trucks to those who actually need to use them.

Imagine fi the middle east simply not needed.

new jobs for power plants adn battery and power storage and laying lines to mvoe electric pwoer from nuclear powerplant to all over.

awesome

electric motors onyl get more powerful with time as battery tek grows

whole oil thing gone

and hope fo replacing oil with hydrogen for fuel cell hoep gone from oil corps

use military to lay power lines, thus making the wars not needed for profit
