I love Robert Downey Jr, but he doesn't look anything like the Holmes that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle invented.

true, but a bretts portrayal of holmes would never go down with todays adhd audience. the new bbc holmes series was pretty damn good though. brought holmes right up to date and made full use of technology to help solve cases.
