I see a difference, I do, but really, doesn't it say something about the support system of this child in question?

Where are the parents? Why does the child feel like no one notices? I talk to my kids... That support system is what it's there for.

what the hell are you talking about?  What if it's just some kid with a disability that everyone is ganging up on?  You're going to lecture his parents for not being there when others are ganging up on him or her?  Really?

Sometimes, definitely. You're taking bullying at the extreme now.

Bullying of mentally disabled kids is even LESS the norm... Everyone is taught at young ages to protect and not pick on those with mental disabilities or other forms of disabilities including physical ones.

I'm not saying bullying is "right", so don't twist what I'm saying. I'm SAYING where was the support system at the time this shit went down.

You seem to want to point the finger at the bully, and they obviously should take the majority of the blame, but where is the support system helping the child to understand that the bully is the one who needs help and is most likely deficient in some other facet of life.

No, I'm not just talking about only bullying of the "extreme low" whatever the fuck that means.  But it doesn't sound very cool ::)...

maybe it's just some extremely overweight kid or some kid who is ugly as hell to the rest.  That's the fucking difference.  If you went to school, you know other kids ganged up on those kids.  Now it's even worse, they'll take it online until those kids kills themselves.

The kind of bullying we're talking about as normal is the kind of shit we learn to give eachother growing up.  That's totally different than when a group gangs up on who they see as the low because of the way they look or act.

Again, I'm not saying it's right... I'm simply ASKING where is the support from the parents and families? What do you think the percentage of bullying of kids who are orphans and have no family is high or something?

Why are you so angry about a simple discussion point.

You're seeming extremely angry about me asking a few simple questions.

I am there for my kids... my kid came home one day and told me a bully was messing with him, so I told him to stomp him... he did, it was over.

My son was afraid I'd be mad at him for stomping some jackass kid at his school... he just needed my support on the matter to understand that I would not be upset. I simply told him that if the kid is just running his mouth, who cares, he's probably a getbig member and has no life. ;)

I also said that if he actually puts his hands on him, to stomp him. The kid touched him, and got stomped. Pretty simple.

I think its much more complicated than that.

I think you're right, I guess I'm just over generalizing.  I have a tendency to do that....

That nutbag in Norway killed all those people with a pistol. I mention this because he had to reload multiple times....in a society that was full of sheepdogs instead of sheep..he might have been overpowered.

EXCELLENT POST!!

What points are you asking about?

Did you ask a question or questions? If so, then I surely didn't see any in your response.

WTF?  You addressed my post asswipe.  Why did you address it if it didn't raise any issues to respond to?  Clearly it does and you're trying to worm out of it.  Don't worry, I'm use to BB doing the same.

What am I worming out of?

I've posted my opinion, that's it... If you have some specific question you are asking, then ask the specific question and I will respond to the specific question.

I seriously don't understand why you are so upset when I'm seriously asking you to "ask the question" and I will respond to it.

This is what happens when you think for yourself and don't let anyone tell you what to do or how to do it.

In reality, I'm the guy who is really down the middle on most things and doesn't see why one side gets so happy, or one side so mad.

Therefore, I get it from both sides.

I seriously don't see it then... because my response was "It isn't right"... as in "Bullying isn't right", so I agree with you on that point and raised a point about where the support system of the children is as well.

To which you did not answer MY question.

So how did I "worm out" of anything again?

Is that response "worming out"?!

If that's the case than any answer to you that you don't agree with must be "worming out".

So first I don't respond, then when I show you where I did respond, now I'm a baby for doing so. Right. I see how that works now.

You haven't yet answered my question, but we'll just go ahead and let that slide I guess.

I did respond... I said it wasn't right. What more of an answer do you require Hugo?

Societies where the kids are'nt cuddled wussies wouldn't allow this. Where the hell where the adults.....the guy had a crowd around him when he started firing, everybody ran.  In Arizona the guy got tackled.

Are bullies more extreme these days?
I don't recall anyone slitting their wrists due to being bullied "back in the day".

I do think it's some bullshit too... I mean, kids have been getting bullied for centuries and they end up being the ones who harden the fuck up and make shit happen later in life.

So this entire idea of "bullying" being some new and horrific thing is bullshit.
It's not a new phenomenon---it's more of parents not preparing kids to cope with it...meaning, you rise up...I mean there were tons of movies from the 80s that had this as a plot---Revenge of The Nerds, anyone?

But it's the cyber bullying that is the ish now...kids can't cope with another kid saying stuff and then they burst out in tears..due to the "lives being ruined"  ::)
Instead of saying stuff back...they sit there like deer in headlights, and start to cry...And what do the parents do? Instead of saying, "say something back", they enable the kids by cuddling them...

Chop to the throat puts anyone down.

What if he dies?...what if it escalates to firearms?...or other deadly force?...I have witnessed situations  that in order for the victim to stop the bullying long term,...he would have to kill someone...Either the bully or himself.
