but it's gonna be hard to see this planet,

 maybe as faint as the moon in daylight. but at night a lot of people should have already seen it with telescopes, no? unless it's coming in from behind the sun.

but what if this planet is visable by the southpole, no matter what the size it would be difficult to see because the planet is beyond the visable horizon?
