Ive been offered a job in Oz. Of course id keep up my training over there but ive heard gear is very hard to get hold of? Whats the score?

Eastyish to get but very very expensive
A friend of mine was back here a month ago, he lives in Australia now
He said the prices of gear there are lunacy
You hardly use gear anyway do u Darren?

ha ha, oh wait, it's illegal .

Still,
i post on a music forum and people always bitch about buying things in the US and then the price doubling once it gets to Australia, either through value added tax or customs (which is something like 50% or some lunacy).
