hate when people tell you they want to join the gym but don't want to big?

Today at the watercooler - Girl I have never seen before about five foot high and five foot wide

She: So - you look like you work out If you don't mind me saying so.
Me: yeah a bit
She: Everyday?
Me: Mostly 4 days a week.
She: Wow - thats a lot - I want to go to the gym too but I am afraid that I am getting big
Me: aha,,,
She:You know I just want to tone up not getting any muscle
Me: okay,,,
She: I joined a gym five years ago and I got real big really fast - my personal trainer said I need to take it easy
Me: ::)

lol its always the same thing - i have completely stopped given people advice if they ask.
I just say that my way of training would not compliment their believe in not getting big :D

Girl: I rather don't workout in a gym I don't want to get big, I have bought a Wii fit to get toned up.

You may as well try nail jelly to a tree she's already making excuses, It's like that scene at the end in that shit movie Titanic, with all those people floating around in the water. You can't save everyone, some people like this are just destined to always be helpless and drown. The word "Want" is a big red flag too... whenever someone says they "want" to do this or they "need" do that that's just delay tactics and non committal. Committed driven People who get things done will word it "I'm doing this" or similar wording.

That reminds me my petrol indication said 29 kilometers left until tank is emty - i think that is based on a rough calculation - I think I am in trouble folks.

every trainer in my gym doesent know what the fuck their doing.  I feel sorry for anyone being trained by them.  Like flushing money down the toilet

exactly, its always irritating because we know what we did for it and spent for it. housewifes are incredible stupid. but so are people in general though.

This is true. Another classic goes something like this:

She: Wow your big, Are you a bodybuilder?
He: I train several days a week but i am not really a bodybuilder.
She: My BF/BROTHER/FRIEND/FATHER/COUSIN etc etc used to be a bodybuilder, he was bigger than you. He used to be Mr AMERICA/BRITAIN/UNIVERSE etc...
