The existence of an NWO is wishful thinking. The vast majority of people want for someone to be in control, whether it be in the form of a transparent government or some shadowy Illuminati group. The alternative, which I find to be much more likely, is much scarier......NOBODY is in control. People are deeply flawed beings and thus, all systems and forms of government and other means of control follow suit. I believe this follows on the heels of people in general believing in a higher power(a requirement for Freemasonry entrance) such as God, Allah, Jehovah, whatever. They need to believe that there is some afterlife, some reward or punishment for their actions in life. Again, the alternative is more frightening....imagine that a noble, charitable good person that displayed all those traits at all times in his life gets the same "reward" as a multiple child rapist or brutal dictator........eternal oblivion or a random reincarnation.
Now let me put forth a question. We see all these pictures of famous people(and some not so famous) flashing so-called "Illuminati Gang Signs." If all these various bankers, actors, politicians, etc... are all members of some New World Order, then why has no one ever attempted to kidnap one of them and put them "to the question" in some dark basement somewhere? I realize you probably couldn't nab a US Congressman, but I'm sure you could get a guy high up in the corporate ladder while he is on vacation somewhere. I think the truth lies in the fact that people really don't believe in all of this, or don't care enough beyond posting on a message forum. Maybe even it is self-gratification to one's ego, realizing the "truth" and assuming all others are "sheep."
