once your liver is damaged, are orals not as effective?
« on: August 25, 2011, 04:56:17 PM »
It is my understanding a large part of what makes orals great and why they work so well  is because the liver increases igf levels. Ive always wondered if once your live is damaged do dbol and anadrol not work as well down the road. since gh works through a similar mechanism in increasing igf levels in the liver, I would think one would not respond to gh as well with time if they are not careful.

Also what is sufficient time off of orals in your opinion?

thankyou

never use orals if you have liver damage. they will just make you sick iss my guess. I doubt they would work for very long. you would eventually get ill.

If the liver is damaged why the hell would you keep taking orals?

orals dont work because of the liver, they work because they bind to androgen receptors, just like every other steroid.

Good question..unfortunately most bodybuilders are too stupid to comprehend that sort of logic...and even if they did..it wouldn't stop them from self destructive idiotic behavior.

I don't think that most of them even know if their liver is damaged or not...

I knew a guy who took long Anadrol and d-bol cycles...he shows up to the gym one day and his skin and whites of his eyes are bright yellow. He tells me he hasn't had any appetite in two weeks and asks if he should lower his d-bol dose from 150mg a day to 75mg. I said "Have you looked in the mirror lately..your'e Freakin' yellow, for god's sake. You're liver is screwed up ." He says, maybe I should lower it to 50 mg a day. ::)

Exactly! until the damage occur they don't even bother to check, Kris Dim is another great example for that.
