If Sour Patch Kids can be made in Mexico,why can't more stuff?

I swear Sour Patch kids is the shit...and it got me thinking, we need more of our cheap stuff made over there...

Damn, what do they put in these things...The Chinese can't make jack, like Sour Patch (That should be the new slogan)

they need to make the sour peach rings and apple rings with the same sugar they put on sour patch. and id like to see some sour swedish fish too.

No,...more things should be made domestically...outsourci ng to other countries is the reason we are so broke right now...it all started during the Reagan administration because the right wing thought american workers are paid too much,...and had too much power.

No, you let Mexico do the cheap stuff, and the hi-tech/ "good shit" is made here...
Thereby getting rid of the illegal immigrant problem.

This process started during the Reagan years and has proved to be a disaster to the middle class...But then, this is what the conservatives wanted, a middle class with no power...Why? Because it was the middle class that derailed the Vietnam war.

Brach's now has a lot of its candy corn made in Mexico and it doesn't last nearly as long.  You can buy it today and the bag could go to shit within a week without even being open.  Also, there's often moisture in the packages coming from Mexico.  I suspect they're making classic jelly beans there, too.

Take the emotion out of it.  Large American businesses didn't care about the 'power' of the American labor force.  The issue was the *cost*.  Outsourcing is used as a political weapon, but the people at the top on both sides engage in it, while the underlings on GetBig and Facebook spend all their time pointing fingers at one another.
