Exactly, it's just not families but also businesses that make $250k or more. If a small business makes $250k (depending on the business) and after all the overhead is paid doesn't leave the owner very much for living expenses for his family. Besides, the "rich" already pay more in taxes than other class, they pay their fair share plus more. Obama's a fuck up and Benny just pwned in yet ANOTHER thread.

What amazes me is that, even though this "class warfare" stuff is complete nonsense and an attempt to make Obama seem like some radical socialist, if it WAS class warfare...who cares? I work with and among a lot of wealthy people, and they are doing quite fine. Trust me, hedge fund managers and America's multi-millionaires and billionaires are not going to take to the streets with pitchforks demanding to be treated more fairly.

The great base of repube voters are blue-collar and modest wage earning whites. They eat this "class warfare" shit up with a spoon, even though it has nothing to do with them. You mad because Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian will pay 2-3% more in taxes? lol Believe me when I say...it will not hurt people like them or Buffett, Gates, etc. Besides, they don't give a shit about you and your life as you live paycheck-to-paycheck.

Companies and businesses that are truly "rich" don't pay taxes....at least not in the traditional sense by comparison (to its employees)


They set up multiple companies within a company. Certain businesses are set up to fail. These businesses then become a "write-off"


If a big business truly feels that it is going to suffer in any way it will just take something from its employees, whether it be benefits, vacation pay, sick leave or flat out wage cuts. Sure, an "unhappy employee" becomes less productive, but this little scenario also gets the employee to fear losing his or her job real quick.


Either way, big business wins overall. Only the little man who lives from paycheck to paycheck is going to suffer.


What is inevitable is this: Either you are filthy-stinking rich, or you are poverty stricken in the end. There will be no "middle class"

the problems facing this country are due entirely to the greed of corporations, corporations that were making record profits during the 70's and 80's but still outsourced all their jobs overseas. not because they had to, but because they wanted to.


now you can be a stupid brainwashed idiot conservative and think the only way to get those jobs back is to kiss the ass of big business, cut taxes, reduce regulations, allow mass pollution, take away the right to collective bargaining, etc. (aka reverse 150 years of progress).  or you can think like a liberal, someone who believes the government has the right and the capability to make things better through direct involvement in the economy, and demand that business return to america, force production to start up again, and rip the worlds resources out of the hands of the few undeserving elite who possess them.

If you actually read responses to your posts you'll see that this is not the counterpoint to your post.  The true rich won't feel it.  It's those on the Obama-defined threshold of 200-250k that get hurt the most.  It's the difference between banking some money at the end of each year and recording a loss.
