Has anyone seen this movie?  Other than the fact that Gosling has a pussy pulling physique it's an incredible fucking movie!

I just watched it tonight.  Possibly the WORST movie I've ever seen.  Retarded romance which didnt make sense.  Terrible acting.  Horrible effort at making him appear "tough".  Very little going on during the whole movie which left you bored.

I had a hard time just sitting through the whole thing.  I cant believe you actually thought it was good.

It's at 92% on Rotten Tomatos.

8.6 out of 10 at IMDB.

Won for best director at the Cannes Film Festival.

All the critics are raving about this movie.

Maybe you should stick to Fast Five and Transformers.  :-\

I like it a lot too. I didn't know it was a total sports movie going into it. I just wanted to go to the movies and I figured a Brad Pitt one would be a good bet. It far exceeded my expectations.

Billy Beane being played by Brad Pitt. What a lucky break for him (and quite a stretch). LOL

Brad Pitt under rated as an actor? Um, I don't think so. There is a reason why he is in so many movies and that most of the movies he makes get really good reviews.

he is underrated in a way that when you make a list of good actors, you won't think about him

hmmm, not too sure about that. I think he has come a very long way in the acting industry. But you may be right that his name wont get mentioned along with pacino, deniro, hanks, pesci, nicholson etc

Yep! Moneyball was a good movie which could get Pitt an Academy Award consideration.

In fact all the actors in that movie impressed me a hell of a lot.

Were any of those team manager actors actual baseball players at one time? And what ever happened to the guy who was played by Jonah Hill?

John Phillip Seymore (spelling?) was also great in his role.

How factual was this movie and the characters within it with real events?

As a kid I struck out with the bases loaded at the top of the 9th resulting in a championship loss so I never followed baseball after that disaster.

But even Willie Mays offered moral support when I told him that story many years latter but Reggie Jackson could give a shit less.

Thanks, Stunt

Looking forward to Moneyball, but Pitt is like a kit-car, looks shiny, but lift the hood and it's a 4cylinder fiero.  Doesn't mean he's a bad actor, just not a great one.  Few good moments a great actor does not make.
