Going to watch it today, Love (no homo) every Ryan Gosling movie, most underrated actor in Hollywood today, theres a dvd screener out for those who cant wait....
Agreed. He's underrated to the public but he seems to get a lot of awards love (never really wins, though). I wasn't a fan of him until I watched Lars and the Real Girl last year. Then I checked out some of his other stuff and realized the guy is a ridiculously good actor. His range is impressive. He just seems to pick movies that aren't going to be blockbusters. He even said that Drive is his "super-hero movie".
True, I watched it yesterday, great film, very Scarface\heatesque in mood.Loved lars and the real girl, priceless when he first brings the doll in to meet his brother and sister in law
that was a great movie can't emphasize great. didn't read nothing after your post, and went to the theater to see it
A lot of people have been whining about it because they went into it expecting something like The Transporter.
they can fuck off. I kinda want to go watch it again.
Hahaha, me too but I think I'm going to see Killer Elite instead (even though its reviews are shit I like Statham flicks).
Are you guys serious? I just finished watching it and I thought it sucked ass.
I'm not sure I would go that far, but I sure don't see what's so great about it.
Anyone else see this? Caught it this weekend and I have to say that it might be the best movie I've seen this year. The plot was great, the soundtrack and camerawork both fantastic and Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan and the rest of the cast were awesome.
I'm not sure I would go that far, but I sure don't see what's so great about it. I was a little bored most of the time. It didn't seem like anything special to me. Never cared much about the characters. I'm really confused as to why it's getting these great reviews from nearly every critic.
awesome movie. epic soundtrack. kavinsky and some obscure "indie" dance gems.
I thought it sounded like 80s music.
