The reason is that your mother and father didn't love you enough.

should not be happening under normal life i would think.
i have nerve damage in one leg, it shakes like hell for example
when i use the leg sled
and artery disease from teh marlboro man. so i get numbness when i sit to long
or when i stand for lengths of time, missionary position or anything else
involving a bent knee position. stretching doesn't seem
to effect either one way or the other.  training i just hope adds to the
final tally in my life expectancy.
about all i can offer sir

Taken from the latest Flex Magazine

Juan Morel on "Numbness"

"I laid her limp, lifeless body to rest in the cot. Slow, shallow breathing, my mind blank. An eternal numbness enveloped my being. Her crying was relentless. My tenderness turned to anger. Oblivious to my physical strength. Only god can hear me now. Have mercy on my tortured soul"

You probably have a herniated disc in your spine pushing on a nerve. I just had 2 discs pulled from my neck and then fused. I'd get weird numbness sporadically in different parts of my body and then it progressed to constant numbness in my hands and legs. I still have this to a degree even after the surgery. Mine started real, real mild like what you described. I'd try to get it looked at now and they may be able to rehab you back to normal without surgery.

It's your lack of a loving father figure while growing up

Numbness of the skin or the limb?
If for example you stretch and compress the area of the inner upper tigh, you get "a numb leg", but in reality the nerves that connect to the skin are interrupted. Motor wise the limbs are prefect.
You're stretching to aggressive or too long.
