I was about to post this at Intensemuscle.com, but I decided I didn't want Sammich's arrogant bullshit one-liner input

I've trained for about 20 years. In that time, the best pulldowns I could do with reasonable form was about 240 for reps. I was a fatass at the time and weighed in that neighborhood, so I struggled even with unweighed pull-ups or chin-ups for a clean "dead hang" six reps or so.
Meanwhile, I could do plenty of Pendlay Rows with 315+. And yeah, my mom's wet pussy and all of that shit aside, when it comes to Penrows, my form was impeccable. Dorian-style rows I could do upwards of 365 or 370 for 8: explosive positive, slow negative, stretch at the bottom, then, boom! Another positive, and so on. Ronnie style? I reckon I could've handled 405 for a few (note for the disbelievers: I ain't no Adrian or one of those other jokers who claims to be a lifetime natty. Most of my best lifts were done while "on").
Anyone else have this disparity? My best friend and former training partner couldn't Penrow 225 for reps to save his life but, weighing 170+, he could do several reps of strict chins with 90 lbs. hanging from his waist.
Incidentally, no, I never sucked his dick, took him up the Hershey Highway or any other scenarios the latent queers might suggest

I'm just curious why I have a big disparity between lat pulling and lat rowing strength, and if anyone else experienced something similar.
Danke, comrades.
