Ron Paul Haters (EDIT: Usually wouldn't use the word "Hater", lol)

There are two categories (as I see it) of Ron Paul haters, can someone please break it down for me?

I have a misguided liberal, nut bag friend that hates him and I have a religious neoconservative aunt that hates him.


Everyone in between seems to agree that he's the best man for the job.

Those who most hate Ron Paul are those usually trying to run others 's lives.    Granted I wish he would STFU sometimes about Iran being ok to get nukes, but liberals H A T E Ron Paul since he is a threat to their ability to steal others livelihood and use the money for bullshit.

THIS makes sense!  In both cases that I mentioned especially.  These two I mentioned are also people that cannot run their own lives effectively. 


I don't think it's so much that Ron Paul thinks Nuclear Iran is OK, I think he just tries to point out the fact that their motivation is reasonable considering the fact that we have them in our cross hairs, and that we just took out a neighboring nation that never attacked us.

I don't think the general public realizes how big of a deal that is.

Imagine if some other nation just took out the Mexican government, caused the death of hundreds of thousands of innocent Mexicans, and had their eye on us next.

We would be supporting, and arming the Mexican resistance in any way we could, and we would sure as hell be developing any kind of defenses we could.

I try to look at things in the prism of the individual, not the collective.   RP appeals to me because of that.   And I like the fact that he admits that people will fuck up and be harmed as a result of their decisions.   


It's just a different wa of viewing things.  I am for the freedom to soar as well as the freedom to fail and kill yourself.  The problem w too many people is that they want some sort of utopia that is utter bullshit.

The person I'm talking about was all up in arms two elections ago, because we had an issue that would ban those high interest check cashing businesses.  I said "hell no I'm not voting to ban those places, why?" Same deal with the smoking ban.  They want everything banned.  The liberals and the neo cons.

see, I have no problem w ultra religion people at all either.   If they want to do their thing, fine by me, just don't try to pass laws dictating my life.    If the religion people want to try to persuade me to a certain course of action on moral, intellectual, or other grounds, fine, I am totally open to that.   

What I am against is groups using the legal and legislative process to compel behavior.   

If something is so bad, the case can be made without resorting to force of law and compulsion.   

now, I am obviously against the basic stuff like stealing, murder, fraud, etc, but matters involving personal behavior should be dealth w in an adult way.

My absolute 24 7 almost obsession with Obama admn is that literally everything he is doing and advocates is compulsion by law to change your behavior whether you like it or not.   Obama to me resembles a slave driver.    when you look at his polices, it is literally like a boot on your neck, as well as businesses and the overall economy. 

I am about choice, freedom, options, and the ability of the individual to set his or her own course in life w as little or few obstacles as possible.

Like an old boss used to say, people arent created equal, thats bullshit, some are just better than others, and those that work harder deserve more money.
