Yes, I'm black, but while I agree that it's important for Blacks to *know* about the primary origin of west Africans in the Americas, I don't think that Blacks should mark themselves the way n*ggers were marked over hundreds of years as they were brought west. 

Plus, they just make the Blacks who have them look filthy.  So many claim to believe in God, yet choose to stain the beautiful black skin given to them by their Creator.  I may be a chunky monkey (right now!), but I love the skin I was blessed with and would never tarnish it.  If I want to 'express my individuality'  , I'll write a fucking poem.
