No big deal. We eat raw steak with lime juice all the time.
First time I ate it I thought my mother-in-law did something to make it safe but it was just purchased from a reputable butcher, washed, sliced and served with lime juice. Tastes really good actually. For my regular cooked steaks, I barely cook them anyway. Just sear them and warm them up. I'm usually slicing off pieces as I cook it and then just pull it off the frying pan or grill. I can't resist the temptation of a juicy, rare steak.
