dumb move- steak is always better than ground beef, you only have the cook the outside with a newyork or ribeye.  Just heat a pan really hot, throw the baby on 3 minutes a side nice and pink in the middle. Ground beef you gotta be more careful with cause of how it's made, mixes with the other meat in the factories.

No big deal. We eat raw steak with lime juice all the time.

First time I ate it I thought my mother-in-law did something to make it safe but it was just purchased from a reputable butcher, washed, sliced and served with lime juice. Tastes really good actually. For my regular cooked steaks, I barely cook them anyway. Just sear them and warm them up. I'm usually slicing off pieces as I cook it and then just pull it off the frying pan or grill. I can't resist the temptation of a juicy, rare steak.
