high amounts of protein will not cause kidney damage! this is myth that everyone needs to know. Protein is very good for the body. There is a point where to much is no good. no good as in no point. excess protein = wasted protein.for any average gym rat I recommend 200-250g minimum a day. steroid user or not.pros can do with more, maybe 400-500. anything more than that is ridiculous.you will not get kidney damage even if you had 1000 grams a day!flushing out your kidneys is a good thing always though. how do you do this? WATER. most bodybuilders don't drink enough water!
