Is USPS security tough for sending supplements?
« on: February 28, 2012, 04:35:14 PM »
just wanna know if im paranoid or if others agree that this is pretty stupid and risky..

so a guy who sends supplements domestic USA.  say he sends from cali, and his customer is in new york.  He ships to the address..

123 smith st
New York, NY 21011

So on the destination and return address, he writes the above address, for both...

Now is this not a red flag?  Why is an item being placed in the post office in california going to have a return addy in New York, which is the same as the destination addy?  Isn't this going to draw suspicion?

Add to this the fact that the pack stands out anyway it is wrapped in some brown paper instead of a regular USPS mailing envelope or cardboard box.

Thoughts...

Nobody cares. I buy and trade books quite a bit, and get packages with no return address, scribbles for addresses, etc...... nary a word from the postman. The only time it may cause trouble is if the package is lost or damaged in transit, sometimes the USPS will open a lost package in hope of finding a owner.

Qbkilla. I need you to listen to me very carefully. I am a Federal worker. I won't say where. But believe me when I tell you this, Federal workers don't give a shit. Especially USPS. I know quite a few of them. This is our daily priority: get through the day as painlessly as possible, do as little as possible while making it look like you're working, etc etc the list is endless. Of course there's always one douchebag boat rocker in the bunch but they're more concerned with internal shit stirring than a package. USPS handles a shitload of domestic bullshit. Like the other guys said they don't give a fuck. They just want their breaks and lunch and clock out. Domestic=fuck all. International shipments worry me cuz you dont know what customs is gonna hit on. I wish I had an inside guy at customs. Fuck that would be awesome.

thanks for the insight bro, and everyone.  so there is no specific security guy who looks at shit that is shady/  also wondering if it is a bad idea to get multiple packs a month, say 4-5 at same addy?  im guessin no, but can never be to careful.  would rather be too careful then careless

No. You'd only get flagged if one of you is on a watch list for dealing/receiving illegal items or say, unlucky enough to have a oil vial break and they have to clean it up and repackage your stuff.

But they don't scan, etc..... it like Customs does.

thats a rookie mistake by a bad source IMO

your item wont get red flagged or anything, but its just pretty fucking stupid of the source to do this

Imagine how many people run business' out of their houses. Ebay, Amazon, etc. I almost order everthing off Amazon . Sometimes I come home and there's 6 packages sitting by my door. Dude unless there's weed hanging out of the package don't worry. The USPS workers are just happy to be working. You're lost in the mix man. My postal dude's sleeved out and I know that dude is hittin the herb. We as humans have a tendency to think everyday ppl give a shit about us. You are an absolute nobody just like the rest of us brotha! Welcome aboard sheep :D I've been living next to the same neighbours for 8 yrs. I know shit about either of them. And they know even less about me. Just blend in man. I look like the guy that would run into a burning building for a cat. Little do they know the true pure evil that lurks inside me ;) I have a security door on my front door which you can't see through. In the past I would get pretty baked and just watch for awhile out the door. God I never realized how mundane our lives truly are until then. Ppl literally do nothing but work. All my neighbors park in their garages. You almost see nobody except ppl driving by. Sometimes I go running right at dark and there aint a soul anywhere. Fucking creepy. So think about this: if you know nothing about your neighbors or what their into, they prob know even less about you, or even care for that matter.

Brutal tren/eca/jacked rant dude.

The internet makes it easy to find out what you want about who you want. If you or your neighbors own your home there are records. Get a persons first and last name, as long as it isn't "John Jones", and digging up information isn't too hard.

No shit,I was young, sober, hard working, well built, and had all my hair back then.

I`d be unloading trucks and find all kinds of empty booze bottles tucked in between mail sacks.....guys would be drunk at work.

Lot of guys dragged around half empty sacks all day trying to look busy........of course they had been there for a lot of years.

There are some lazy fuckers there!

that is one job where it`s very hard to get fired from.
