I dropped the thought because my work's extended health benefits are only shitty in the eyewear department. Only get a couple hundred bucks every few years so I'll just put it towards the wifey's once it renews. I don't know about where you live, but there are so many clinics popping up that they're all having mad promotions. As little as $400 per eye, but I'm guessing there's probably a couple hundred in sedation and other expenses.

Still beats the few thousand dollar price tag from no more than a few years ago.

Yeah...i think i saw an ad the other day that the prices are starting from € 1000 and up...im living in the Netherlands btw so maybe its more expensive over here than in the states...?

Ahh, that could be the case. I'm here in chilly Canada and I've been seeing ads for less than a grand.

I was texting my bro just now and I think he said his came to $1200 with everything in, including taxes.

Thats not expensive at all if they did both eyes for that ammount!...i will have to check my insurence aswel because i might get a bit of my money returned ...but it will depand on how much of an eye defect i have... :-\

1200? That's cheap! I need to move to Canada. Cost around 3500-4000 here.
