No you don't need steroids.  However some things are wrong in your post that I must point out.
More than an 1 hour and a half in the gym is overkill.  Unless you are including time waiting to use machines, barbells, racks, etc.  1 hour 15, 1 hour 30 tops.  No more.
Secondly I would say 4 days a week is perfection.  I have trained 3-4 days all my years and I have a great physique to show.  Rest is very important.  I usually did 1 on, 1 off, an then Saturday.  Some people like 5, nothing wrong.  But 2 days no matter what, your body needs it.  You don't grow in the gym!
