Huh..they're saying they won 2 world wars.....they did.....with help, but they did. You don't need to go into details when kids are young, just build pride in the country. The US school system goes out of its way to show how we suck.
Mostly agree here, Britain didnt really lose, they were getting their ass kicked in the begining but they didnt lose.
When I went to school in the late 90's, they were teaching that we pretty much kicked ass in every conflict we have been in except for Vietnam. (Which isnt true, militarily we kicked ass in Vietnam as well, but the media portrayed it as a loss so it became a political loss in the history books. The media was trying to say we lost the war every fucking chance they got, eventually people just accepted it.)
Most of the history teachers I had were pretty neutral, I dont remember ever having someone teach us that we were wrong, however It may have just been that I was instilled with a lot of pride and came from a military family.
I have however, seen many college teachers that push their "The US is oppressive and evil" message on their students, and most of the students are too fucking stupid to think for themselves. They just take the what theyre spoon fed cause its "cool to hate America".
