YouTube plans to show every music video ever made
« on: August 17, 2006, 12:35:59 PM »
About a year or so ago I was searching youtube for a 'fun boy three' video 'our lips are sealed' and it wasn't there. I searched again a few months later and it was  :) I've found a whole load of smiths videos and rare interviews on there... it's fucking great and'll be even more better if they can pull this off

VIDEO-SHARING phenomenon YouTube wants to show every music video ever made on its website.

Record labels EMI, Warner Music and Vivendi’s Universal music unit are in discussions with the site about the ambitious plan.

The website, which gets more than 100million views a day, hopes to offer the videos for free.

It currently features clips posted by users, many of them homemade comic videos.

It was named one of Time magazine’s 50 coolest websites of the year earlier this week.

YouTube says its videos account for 60 per cent of those watched online.

I've just found this old gem Dexys Midnight Runners-Geno on youtube, it's from 1980. Me and my best mate at the time made up a dance routine to this song and then performed it in front of his three sisters, one of which was fit as fuck :P I had a mad crush on her at the time, not that she noticed lol. ahh to be nine years old again.
