1.  Zimmerman was at some point following Martin
2.  Zimmerman shot Martin

Everything else is an assumption on one side or other

I dont' think there are any eyewitnesses of the events immediately prior to the shooting or of the shooting itself

If I were Martin and I stalked and then confronted someone and then shot him I assume I would be tempted to make up a story such as the one which has been presented in the media as his side of the story

Of course - thats what Ive been arguing the whole time, that there is no way of knowing really what happened, but from the evidence presented it looks as though he's going to walk.
Like I said in the other thread -
If they can prove that TM was attacked 1st, Zimmerman should go to jail (and will if they can prove it).
If not, he's going to walk, as there is a pretty big gash in the back of Zimmermans head and a couple of neighbors are saying he was attacked.

Ive never defended this kid - just argued with 240 that he cant know that he's guilty or what kind of guy he is based on the evidence provided. If he's guilty he's guilty and should go to jail. But it doesnt really look like he broke any laws, unless some evidence shows up to the contrary.

heard one guys opened his window b/c he heard someone yelling "help" when he did there was a guy standing over another guy who was yelling for help then said he was going call the cops and went to get a phone heard a gun shot and went back and the guy who was standing over the guy on the ground before was on the ground shot...

I care that he purposefully entered a situation where he believed the guy was on drugs and had something in his hand from his waistband - shot him - lied about being beaten on the sidewalk for ONE MINUTE - and then tried to ass-rape florida gun laws for his defense.

THAT is why I think the guy is a bag of shit.  not cause of some race thing.
