R.I.P - very tough losses for this kid
« on: April 12, 2012, 06:39:07 PM »
Long story short, this kid I went to High School with years and years ago just recently lost his sister this week. And years before today, this kid lost his father. When they lost their father back then, they lost their only income as well which was their family business restaurant. So now all left is his Mom, him and one sister.  I didn't know his sister personally that passed away but it still feels like close to home when you feel for good people. I haven't seen this kid for 1-2 years either, but I have to reach out to him with my condolences. How much of a bad luck can good people have?

In these occasions, a faith in religion yes really matters.

It is actually a reason to cherish people while we're here on earth before it's too late

Your relationship with Christ will allow you to enter into The Kingdom Of God.

He's too busy working double shifts at the family restaurant. I've heard they've been short on help as of late.

We are all here for a very short time.  And when it is all over we are all going to the same place: into the ground. Choices have consequences; try to make good ones.

I had a high school colleague named Larry, who was the only one who talked to me like a person...In his senior year he bought a Mustang Mach 1  1971 model year which he fixed up...The next week he ran it headlong into a loaded concrete truck...He was declared dead at the scene.
