The Blame Game
« on: December 24, 2008, 04:07:47 PM »
Usually, one administration blames the past president for problems of the present.
(IE: Clinton was responsible for 9/11)

This is the first time I've heard the present problems blamed on the future president.

its not that clinton was responsible for 9/11 its that the shit you and others on here have spewed from your mouths about bush being the sole person responsible is ignorant and false.

well, since you can assign some blame to clinton for 9/11, an event that took place 9 months after he was retired...

what % of the blame do you place on Clinton, and how do you reach this number?

(You can't say it's more than zero % without being able to quantify it dude.)

LOL why the fuk not?

Any number i put on it will be arbitrary and so will any number you do as well that is unless you have some equation we can throw some numbers into? didnt think so point of the matter is that he isnt innocent in it to what extent is subjective.

first off i dont listen to rush but the link didnt even quote him so i have no idea what he said only that this guy says he said this. I dont like taking other ppls opinions on shit as they often spin shit like you do on this board. Second if you think that ppl arent uncertain about obamas policies you are a dumb ass he doesnt even know what hes going to do yet. Does that have some impact on the stock market yea im sure to some extent it does, he ran on a platform of raising taxes for the rich and capital gains tax well who are the most active in the market? ppl with excess money probably a lot of ppl who would fall into obamas idea of "rich" so wouldnt it make sense that they are a bit uncertain?

I didnt hear one comment on there saying the economic crises was obamas fault only that there is uncertainty about him which you have to admit there is and that this is contributing to the crises which you must admit it is.

How are you right? Maybe the promised stimulus plans HAVE INDEED caused the markets to deteriorate?

The stock market works on speculation, and maybe, just MAYBE they speculate all the bailouts and stimulus plans will have a negative effect on some sectors.

I'm not saying Obama's plans are bad, it's just that the powers that be might speculate them to have negative repercussions.

Of course you've already thought of this and have a intelligent reply to my point.

I will tell you that many businesses are waiting to see Obama's plans before they decide to hire new employees or not or try to expand.

If businesses think they are going to get taxed more, than they wont hire new people.  It is very simple to figure out.

Almost four years later and still spot on as far as businesses refusing to hire.   Ghettobama has no one to blame but himself.

The issue is Clinton had opportunitie(s) to take out Bin Laden on several occasions. Still there is no guarantee that killing Bin Laden would have prevented 9/11. You can blame who ever you want, but at the end of the day the government is run by both D and R, they all failed.
